
In the land of Shee, on the edge of the last great wilderness, is an Alaskan Music and Arts Festival called Artigras. Sitka's Artigras is an intimate ten day celebration in recognition of the areas incredible creative energy. It takes place in Sitka Alaska, the only community on the pacific coast listed as one of a Dozen Distinctive Destinations of 2010 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. A presentation of Music, Dancing, Gallery openings, workshops and the annual Wearable Art Show.
