Sitka Arti Gras – Music and Arts Festival March 2009

Mid March, it's springtime – Come to Sitka – celebrate the incredible creative S.E. Alaska community we live in. Sitka Arti Gras is a multi-day happening of regional artist and musicians getting together and sharing the magical energy of our lives.

Artigras 2009 is being planned for two weekends. Listed are the scheduled events. There are many events in the planning stage to be listed when confirmed. This years Artigras is being produced by the Greater Sitka Arts Council with a generous donation from Old Harbor Books, Sitka's great independent bookseller. Also a big thanks to Jayson Caputo for getting the posters up in Juneau. If you are interested in participating the first weekend is generally performing arts and the second weekend is music and visual art.
